Hagar is heard by God
Dear Friends,
This Sunday we sit with Hagar — cast out, afraid, and alone in the wilderness — and discover that she is not forgotten. Romans calls us to reckon with what it means to die to one old life and rise into a new one. And Jesus, in Matthew, speaks hard words about the cost of following him and the surprising freedom that comes with it.
Who are the ones our world overlooks? And what does it mean to truly rise? Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM for what promises to be a moving and challenging morning together.
The readings for June 21 will be from Genesis 21:8-21, Romans 6:1-11, and Matthew 10:24-39, and we will be singing the hymns Praise with Joy the World’s Creator, God of the Women, Rise Up Women, and Christ Be Our Light.

Living at the Vicarage?
Large sunny bedroom
Big Ensuite Bathroom
Own sitting area!
Tired of living alone?
As you may know, Ratcha is going to Paris to study for two years, and that will leave only two of us living in the vicarage. It’s a big place, so we would like a third person to be able to share. We have a large room available with its own bathroom and a private living room area outside. You’d also be able to use all the rest of the house as well and the garden.
If you’re interested, speak to Father Iain.
Chili Night is Back!

The chili has been summoned. Tuesday evening, 6 PM, the Vicarage. Bring your appetite, bring a friend, leave your worries at the door. No agenda. No dress code. Just good food and even better company.
