Growing Together!

From Ken Chase for All Saints Chiang Mai

Dear Friends,

We had a great time of worship together on Sunday, with our biggest attendance yet: ten adults and three children!  As with any international congregation of busy people, numbers go up and down as people travel and return and, although its not the most important thing, it’s great to see our congregation slowly growing.

We strongly believe that All Saints should be a place of worship where people can come as often or as occasionally as they feel the need, and we thank God that we have the freedom to worship.

This weeks readings are from Amos 6:1, 4-7, 1 Tim 6:6-19, and Luke 16:19-31 and we will be singing the hymns The God of Abraham Praise, When I Needed a Neighbour, I am the Bread of Life, and O God, Our Help in Ages Past.

After the service we will share coffee and a bite to eat at the house.  Directions can be found on the Where and When page of the All Saints website.

God bless,

Ken

Worship Continues!

From Ken Chase for All Saints Chiang Mai

 .

Dear Friends,

Last week we had another great Sunday service – just before the rain poured down!  It was great to see three new people joining us – and we had our first child in the congregation.  It’s so encouraging to see new people coming along, and shows that All Saints is meeting a genuine need!

This week’s readings are from Amos 8:4-7, 1 Tim 2:1-7, and Luke 16:1-13 and we will be singing the hymns Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise; Lord, I want to be a Christian; Take my life and let it be; and There’s a Spirit in the Air.  After the service we will again share coffee and a bite to eat at the house.

Directions can be found on the Where and When page.  Please feel free to come as frequently or infrequently as you like!  We’re not taking attendance, and we want to be here when people need us.  Don’t feel that you have to come to church – God loves a cheerful giver, and a cheerful worshiper too!

As most people get to hear about us via the internet or by word of mouth, please feel free to pass on this information to others. All are welcome to join us as we share in our weekly Eucharist!  We hope to see you soon and that you will enjoy worshiping with us.

God bless,

Ken

Worship Tomorrow!

From Ken Chase for All Saints Chiang Mai

Dear Friends,

It’s hard to believe that tomorrow will be only our third Sunday Eucharist – we fall into familiar patterns so quickly.  Last week was our first service without Emily and Pamela, who have returned to Egypt to teach, but it was great to welcome Ellen for the first time.  We will meet again tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.

This weeks readings are from Exodus 32:7-14, 1 Tim 1:12-17, and Luke 15:1-10 and we will be singing the hymns Let All the World in Every Corner Sing, O Jesus, I have Promised, The Lord’s my Shepherd, and Guide me O Thou Great Jehovah.

After the service we will share coffee and a bite to eat at the house.

God bless,

Ken
