Walking on Water?
Dear Friends,
In this week’s Gospel reading, Jesus comes to the disciples walking on the stormy waters of the Sea of Galilee.
Peter’s response was to declare “If it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” Jesus said, ‘Come.’ So Peter got out of the boat, started walking on the water, and came towards Jesus.
But when Peter noticed the strong wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, ‘Lord, save me!’ Jesus immediately reached out his hand and caught him, saying to him, ‘You of little faith, why did you doubt?’
Are we ready to jump out of the boat and trust God? Even if the sea is stormy? How much faith do we have? We will discuss this and more at All Saints this week.
The readings for this Sunday will be from 1 Kings 19:9-18, Romans 9:5-15, and Matthew 14:22-33, and we will be singing the hymns Praise my Soul the King of Heaven; The Lord’s My Shepherd; Rise up Women; and The Church’s One Foundation!

Please pray for the All Saints Choir. Mark will be meeting with Khun Tasnee at YCF this week. We are trying to work out a number of logistical problems so that it can continue. We all want to link with the children and hear them singing. Pray that this will work out.
