Christmas Celebration at YCF
Dear Friends,
Christmas is almost over and we will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany on Sunday. It has been a wonderful more “normal” Christmas at All Saints this year.
It is now almost a year since I returned to Thailand, following my enforced 2020 sabbatical in the UK, and things are going well at All Saints as we enter 2022. God has been with us throughout the pandemic and will continue to be with us in this new year. As we begin 2022, may we commit our lives once again to God and God’s service!
The bible readings for this Sunday will be from Isaiah 60:1-6, Ephesians 3:1-6, and Matthew 2:1-12, and we will be singing the hymns We Three Kings of Orient Are, The First Nowell, As With Gladness Men of Old, and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing!

Christmas at the Youth Charity Foundation
We had a wonderful evening last Thursday, 30th December, at YCF where we celebrated Christmas together and gave the children their Christmas presents.
It was a truly joyful evening.
Trip to Chiang Rai with YCF
New Year’s Eve Worship
On New Year’s Eve, mum and I journeyed up to Chiang Rai with some of the older children from the Youth Charity Foundation.
We celebrated the New Year together, and were there for the dedication of a beautiful new church.

It was a great privilege to spend time with the children and get to hear of their hopes and fears for 2022.

Chili Night

Chili Night at the vicarage continues on Tuesdays at 6 p.m.
Every week, mum and I are hosting this open-house, offering chili con carne and rice followed by ice cream. Anyone can come – you don’t have to let us know, just turn up. (Although advanced notice is useful so we can prepare enough chili!) All are welcome – not just All Saints people. Tell your friends, spread the word!

Weekly Offering to All Saints
You can still donate in person or online. Thank you for your support and love for All Saints and all we are trying to do together. God has shown that he is mighty and we are in his hands!
