A wonderful Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols
Last Friday and Saturday nights we had our wonderful Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols – a real beginning to Christmas! Thanks to the Lannacapella Choir and to all those who did readings or helped behind the scenes.
The Lannacapella Choir
Christmas will soon be upon us, those who have signed up for the Christmas lunch should standby to hear what they have to bring! Of course, our midnight mass and Christmas morning service will be the centre of our worship, and as we look forward to singing the familiar carols we can rejoice in their message: peace on earth and good will, and the knowledge that God is with us.
Christmas Services at All Saints:
Saturday 24th December – Christmas Eve
11:30 p.m. Midnight Mass
Sunday 25th December – Christmas Day
11 a.m. Christmas Family Eucharist
Our readings for this Sunday, the fourth Sunday of Advent, will be Isaiah 7:10-16, Romans 1:1-7, and Matthew 1:18-25, and we will be singing the carols O Come, All Ye Faithful, Once in Royal David’s City, Silent Night, and See Amid the Winter’s Snow. The readings can be found via this link!
Our new church directory is still available – thanks to Chris for pushing this! Reply to this email to get a copy!
