Pentecost!

Dear Friends,

This Sunday, May 15th, is Pentecost Sunday.  We will be having a potluck lunch following the combined 11 a.m. service as we celebrate this birthday of the church.

Pentecost assures us that God is with us in the Holy Spirit!  We have not been left as orphans but can know that God is always with us!  It is a time for thanksgiving and rejoicing!  The readings for Pentecost Sunday are Genesis 11:1-9, Acts 2:1-21, and John 14:8-17, 25-27, and we will be singing the hymns Come Down O Love Divine, Spirit of God unseen as the Wind, O Breath of Life, and O God of Burning Cleansing Fire!
