From Father Iain, All Saints Chiang Mai
We are All Saints!
POTLUCK THIS SUNDAY!
Dear Friends,
All Saints Day is when we remember that we are all saints – and also remember the Christian people who have gone before us as examples in the faith! We may remember our grandparents, that teacher at Sunday School, or that friend who was always there for us. As we hold our Celebration for All Saints Day this Sunday, we remember those who have gone before and rejoice that we are part of a community of love and care!
Some of the All Saints Choristers will also be with us, reminding us that we are a people of all ages from many different nations. It will be a time of thanksgiving and praise! Our service will be followed by a potluck at the vicarage!
The scripture readings for this Sunday will be 2 Esdras 2:42-48, Hebrews 12:18-24, and Luke 6:20-31, and we will be singing the hymns For All the Saints; Bless the Lord Oh my Soul; Father, we love You; Sing with all the Saints in Glory; and O when the saints go marching in! The choir will be singing Dear Lord and Father of Mankind!

Chiang Rai Wedding

After the hard work of the Choir Intensive, mum and I again joined with the Youth Charity Foundation for the wedding of a former student. On Thursday we drove up to Chiang Rai with six kids in the campervan, and then joined the wedding festivities on Saturday morning!
We then drove on to Chiang Dao to take part in the church retreat.
