Nine Lessons

From Rev Iain Baxter, All Saints Chiang Mai

All is ready for our Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols

Dear Friends,

Our Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is finally here. There are still a few tickets available, especially for Friday night, so feel free to come along and bring your friends.

Christmas will soon be upon us, and almost 20 people have signed up for Christmas lunch, so that should be a great event.  Of course, our midnight mass and Christmas morning service will be the centre of our worship, and as we look forward to singing the familiar carols we can rejoice in their message: peace on earth and good will, and the knowledge that God is with us.

Christmas Services at All Saints:

Saturday 24th December – Christmas Eve
11:30 pm Midnight Mass

Sunday 25th December – Christmas Day
11 am Christmas Family Eucharist

Followed by Christmas Lunch
(You need to sign-up for the lunch)

Our readings for the third Sunday of Advent will be Isaiah 35:1-10, James 5:7-10, and Luke 1:46-55, and we will be singing the hymns Of the Father’s Love Begotten, Song of Mary, and Tell out my Soul!   The readings can be found via this link!

New Directory

Our new church directory is still available – thanks to Chris for pushing this!  Reply to this email to get a copy!

If you don’t know the way to All Saints, directions can be found on the Where and When page.  Most people get to hear about us via the internet or by word of mouth, so please feel free to pass on this email to others.

All are welcome to join us as we celebrate the Christ of Christmas!  We hope to see you soon and that you will enjoy worshiping with us,

God bless,

Iain
