Christ is Risen!

From Father Iain, All Saints Chiang Mai

Christ is Risen!

Dear Friends,

In Chiang Mai the pollution continues – we are still waiting for the resurrection of our beautiful city – it is hard to believe that soon the rains will come and the skies will be blue once again! Meanwhile, on the world stage, we see a very tentative ceasefire in the Persian Gulf – can we really believe it will hold?

This is the Second Sunday of Easter and we will be looking at the story of doubting Thomas.  Sometimes it is hard to believe what we haven’t yet seen, yet how can we doubt God’s love when we remember all that God has done for us?  Join us this Sunday at All Saints.

The readings for the Second Sunday of Easter will be from Acts 2:14, 22-32, 1 Peter 1:3-9, and John 20:19-31, and we will be singing the hymns Alleluia! Sing to Jesus; The Day of Resurrection; Hail the Day; and All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name!
